Professor named one of Canada’s most influential
Professor Alice Woolley has advocated at Calgary’s city hall that its whistleblower program should be expanded to protect the identities of private citizens and councillor staffers who report inappropriate behaviour. She has aimed to create a tougher code of conduct for the mayor and members of council and oversee the creation of a voluntary lobbyist registry. While dean-academic at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, Woolley instituted significant curricular changes that focused on the practical elements of legal education.
