Creating internship opportunities for all science students
The Science Internship Program allows students to participate in 8 to 16 consecutive months of paid work experience, gain professional skills, develop networks and discover career options.
Students admitted to the Science Internship Program will have access to a number of exclusive workshops including how to improve your resume and cover letter, interview skills and networking, as well as an exclusive job board and access to employer networking events.
Shardar Quraishi, a Computer Science student in the Science Internship Program, worked full-time as a programmer, developing digital business solutions for energy infrastructure company TC Energy in Calgary.
Quraishi says real-world work experience has transformed him into a different, more confident person. “An internship takes you to a new level as a student. This internship program really does change it all for you.”
