Individuals with ACL deficient or reconstructed knees needed to help characterize potential early cartilage changes in knee osteoarthritis 

Researchers are looking for individuals with ACL deficient (ACLD) or reconstructed (ACLR) knees to participate in a low dose biplanar video X-ray study that seeks to identify cartilage stiffness changes in early knee osteoarthritis.

This study has been approved by the University of Calgary Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board (15-0554).

Who is eligible: Males and females, ages 18-60 years, at least 3 years of having an ACLD or ACLR knee, minimal pain in the affected knee. 

What to expect: An MRI and CT scan of your knee followed by a 10-minute loading task and 5-minute walking task within a biplanar X-ray system. 

Time commitment: Approximately 3 hours for a single session.
