Research Interests
I have previously completed four 16-week summer studentships with Dr. Monument from 2017-2020. Three of these studentships involved investigating soft tissue sarcoma, and one studentship project was focused on osteosarcoma. Additionally, I had the opportunity to complete an undergraduate thesis with Dr. Steven Boyd investigating the feasibility of using HR-pQCT for assessing skeletal muscle. This project was completed from September 2019 to April 2020. Currently, I am combining valuable knowledge and experience acquired throughout my undergraduate studies to my master's thesis with Dr. Monument, where we are investigating the role macrophages play in the tumour microenvironment of soft tissue sarcoma.
