I am working on the genetic integration-free reprogramming of skin cells to human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) in bioreactor culture for clinical applications. As hiPSCs can be differentiated into any types of cells of human body, these cells can be used for organogenesis as well as disease modelling for improving bone and joint health. My research also focuses on the reprogramming of prime cells to naïve cells, exosome-mediated reprogramming, cell apoptosis, adherent junction proteins, and shear-induced mechanopluripotency in bioreactor culture for both human and mouse hiPS and mES cells.
