Current project focuses on the application of multimodal imaging strategies to improve the diagnosis
and track the healing process of navicular stress fractures

  • Evaluating the microstructural features associated with stress fractures of the navicular bone using high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT)
  • Quantifying stress fracture-induced bone marrow edema through magnetic resonance imaging
  • (MRI) and dual-energy CT (DE-CT)
  • Tracking the microarchitectural repair that takes place during stress fracture healing through HRpQCT
