Nabangshu Das

Nabangshu is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Roman Krawetz. His research focuses on characterizing PRG4 concentration and structure in human synovial fluid samples from inflammatory arthritis patients and applying that knowledge to the development of lubricin-containing biotherapeutics and biomaterials. Characterization and quantification of PRG4 fragments in inflammatory synovial fluid could contribute to further understanding of PRG4’s role in human joint health and homeostasis as well as improve existing treatments.
