Research

Research interests

I am interested in utilizing stem cell and tissue engineering approaches to establish various transplantable microtissue for enhanced function and survival upon transplantation. Tissue engineering and stem cell biology can be utilize to address various MSK challenges. For instance, designing engineered microtissue for more successful stem cell transplants.

Biography

I have a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Victoria. I am currently in my 4th year of PhD in the Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of Calgary. I have had several business adventures before deciding to go for my PhD including: owning a restaurant and managing a Whale Watching Company.
