Nada Abughazaleh

My research interest includes Osteoarthritis (OA), Obesity, metabolic osteoarthritis, prebiotic fiber, exercise, interventions plan to reduce (OA), the health of knee joint. in my master's project, I worked on identifying the effect of a different kind of exercise in synovial fluid proteins and chondrocytes death in the rabbit knee. For my Ph.D. I will be working to determine the optimal timing of muscle, bone, and joint rescue in a pre-clinical model of diet-induced obesity and metabolic knee OA, using diet (oligofructose), aerobic exercise, and combination (diet & exercise) interventions.
