The MoJo isn't just for bone and joint research. Our state-of-the-art imaging equipment and technology can by used by clinicians, scientists and companies on a fee for service basis.
Our background
In September 2016 the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health officiall opened the Centre for Mobility and Joint Health (MoJo).
Our equipment and services
Some of the imaging equipment in the MoJo is only available in one or two other facilities in the world. Scientists work with the support of clinical research coordinators, licensed medical imaging technologists and IT experts to capture detailed, targeted images essential for clinical assessment and research studies.
Our partners
We work with Alberta Health Services and numerous business and community partners to help deliver accurate clinical imaging assessments.
2023/24 Report
The MoJo supported over 70 research studies and trials over the previous year.
