Foot Pain Study

Experiencing Foot Pain?

It could be a navicular injury. A navicular stress fracture is an injury to the navicular bone in the foot, often seen in athletes due to overuse or trauma. Researchers are looking for participants for a study using  medical imaging to understand navicular stress fractures and injuries.

Who is eligible: 

Males and females, age 18 – 50 years Foot pain or a suspected/confirmed navicular injury

What to expect:

Assessment of pain/injury Questionnaire Advanced bone imaging scan

Time commitment:

2 – 4 visits to the Bone Imaging Laboratory (U of C, Foothills Campus) over one year
